Food Scene

There are a LOT of dining and takeout options in Breck, almost all within a one mile walk from the condo, and most are pretty good (they don’t last long if they aren’t). It may seem expensive but understand that their staff need to be paid well enough so they can live here and hopefully stay awhile. Only a few of the finer restaurants take reservations and are booked well in advance.
BoLD, Quandary Grill, The Cheese Shop of Breckenridge, Continental Divide Winery & Trolley Crepes are close when you don't want to walk far. Also, Coffee Depot is on the Main Street side. Great photo spot with Maggie Pond and the ski slopes.

The historic Main Street from Park Avenue (south) to French (north) is about 3/4 mile long and packed with food options. As the epicenter, this area is very popular and thus very crowded. Favorite counter-order/take-out food options are Cool River, The Crown and Clint's. Favorite sit-down casual food options are Blue Stag, Flip Side, Eric's, Gold Pan, Breckenridge Tap House and Giampietros. All the high-end places are very good and very expensive ... just depends on what you're looking for. If you like this and can get a reservation, go for it!

A regular favorite. Trailhead access is on the south side the ski run next to Beaver Run/Copper Top. Out-and-back and connects to additional trails to Francie's Cabin and Peak 10, pick your distance. Well used, and good with snowshoes after fresh new snow.

Essentials

Small market with a good selection. Take a backpack and shopping bag (in the front closet) when you head downtown, then stop here for a couple provisions on the walk home.

Shopping

Courtney and Brook have a great little shop with lots of interesting cheeses along with cured meat, chocolate and special pantry items (olive oils, pasta, crackers, condiments, etc). They also make very special sandwiches on baguette to take with you on the trail.
