Grand Rapids is a 30 minute drive. Small city with a big city feel. East GR has a hip food scene and downtown offers everything a big city offers including fun nightlife, restaurants, cafes, theater, music, and museums.

We just call it Riley Beach. Small public beach with free parking. Less crowded than Holland State Park. A short climb up a small sand dune from the parking lot to the shore. Great place to catch the sunset.
