Another Dawsonville classic, especially if you’re a NASCAR Elliott family fan. There’s many other great burger places around town though, including Atlanta’s own The Varsity satellite location.

Our favorite Mexican place. Their Texas fajitas plate easily feeds two. Add a half pitcher of their margaritas and you have a perfect date night. A close second, and within a 5 minute drive, is Señor Fiestas.

There are currently 57 wineries in Georgia and you’re twenty minutes from most in GA wine country when you stay at our place, so we’ll give you some of our favorites to help narrow it down. In fall and spring, don’t miss the deals offered with the GA Wine Highway events as well as there is a wine tasting walking tour offered around the Dahlonega square. Cavender is our favorite overall winery because it’s family friendly, got a great outdoor space, and we’ve enjoyed every wine we’ve tried there!
