The one on Bay St (across Factor's Walk) accepts credit cards where the one on River St is cash only. Super cool building with clothes-line bacon! A hearty southern breakfast option. Get there early! There is very little sitting and it backs up quickly.

A unique 'haunt' that is believed to be the oldest building in Savannah. It has really cool history and good food. I recommend going for lunch to keep costs down and still get a good sized portion of food.

Download the Park Savannah App

Street parking is usually easy to come by. Download the app to add time to your parking without having to run back to your car. Parking garages are another option with a free city shuttle that picks up and drops off at all garages - just be mindful that the shuttle runs in one direction. Garage pricing varies. Free street parking on Price St (always) and on Sundays.

Flat shoes & a rain coat / umbrella

As much as you want to wear stilettos to go out, wear at least wedges if you plan to go downtown. The cobblestone streets are hard enough to navigate in flat shoes while sober. Expect rain every day. Locals say plan as if it won't rain, prep as if it will, and just expect to get wet. The weather can swing pretty rapidly so it's not worth canceling plans over, but it's also best to be prepared.

Restaurants & tours

Most restaurants that take reservations book a week in advance during the busy season. Also, most tours will either book out or be more expensive to purchase in person.

Pedestrian privileges

Locals typically come to a complete stop while driving if it appears you might cross the road. Additionally, not many locals (and some tourists) look before crossing the street.
