Must see if you have time. You can see multiple states from the top of the rock. The views are beautiful. On a clear day you can see four states: Maryland of course, but also Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. The park has hiking and a pool too!

Starting in Cumberland, the Great Allegheny Passage follows the route of the historic Western Maryland Railway as it makes a gradual ascent to the Eastern Continental Divide. Along the way, travelers pass through the Brush Tunnel and bend around the 180˚ Helmstetter’s Curve, paralleling the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad (which offers rides, with bicycles if desired, to Frostburg, Maryland where public art, lunch, and ice cream await). After Frostburg, travelers can meander through the Borden Tunnel, cross the Mason & Dixon Line, and catch spectacular views into four states at the overlook outside the lighted Big Savage Tunnel.

It's not what I would call a real mall. It used to be but, are there any real malls left? But, its 1/2 Walmart and 1/2 Mall stores. It has a Chinese Buffet near by too so if you need to get anything, it's worth going for dinner and picking up stuff.

Activities

Within the resort's Sundown Village, you can try out cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Here they offer rentals, lessons, and have trails to explore. Zip-Lining & Ropes Courses During the summer season, try for a thrilling adventure throughout Wisp's zip-lining and ropes courses. How much fun does the ‘Chipmunk Challenge’ sound? How about the ‘Spider Monkey Adventure’ or the ‘Flying Squirrel Canopy Tour’? These three ropes courses are designed to challenge climbers of all ages (6+) to series of zip lines, cargo nets, and more. The trained guides will help you get the adventure started. Golf There are two top notch golf courses located at Wisp Resort. Fantasy Valley is located at the base of the resort and has top ranked greens to enjoy. At the top of the mountain is Lodestone Golf Course which highlights incredible mountain and lake views. Chairlift Rides There may not be any snow on the mountain, but that doesn’t have to keep you away from the chairlifts at Wisp Resort! Grab your camera and a friend (or two!) for a scenic chairlift ride up the mountain to behold spectacular sweeping panoramas of the mountainside overlooking Deep Creek Lake. Once you’re up there, consider a hike on one of Wisp’s mountaintop trails!
