My friend Andrea owns this place, and wow, she's so knowledgeable. I took a class from her on dandelions and was blown away. Definitely try some of her elderberry syrup. I know people swear by it as a cure for the common cold, but I like it as a drink mixer!

On it's 4th generation owner, this local staple is like stepping back in time. You can even sit in the booth President Truman ate in! This place is the supreme king of diner food; their milkshakes were absolutely the culprit for my excessive pregnancy weight gain, lol.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant locally. It's about a fifteen minute drive, but well worth it. This charming little Italian restaurant has sublime ambiance, and a pretty great wine selection. Our family favorite is the chicken abruzzo. You won't regret it.

So here's a secret menu hack for this place. Any of their appetizers can be ordered as a full size pizza! Our favorites are the Fajita, Buffalo Chicken, and the Pesto.
