Cheap (by NYC standards) and delicious breakfast with free coffee or tea until 11am. Terrific omelets and oatmeal in addition to pancakes, french toast, blintzes, etc. Definitely child friendly.

Formerly Babycakes. This place is gluten, dairy, soy, and nut free yet totally delicious. The buttermilk biscuits are so flakey and buttery, you won't believe they are vegan.
