Since 1932, taking over an activity that began in 1860, the family has offered traditional cold meats and cheese and culinary specialities from Bologna, from the famous tortellini to the most refined and unique recipes. There is also a tasting room.

This corner of the city is known as "little Venice". Looking out among the buildings, you can see one of the few stretches of running water, which was not covered with asphalt between the beginning of the twentieth century and the postwar period.

The current plan is to be dated back to the first years of the 19th century, when Napoleon ordered the architect G.B Marinetti to redesign it in the French style. In 1896, in the park, were built a monumental flight of stairs and a circular basin in the middle of the garden.
In Montagnola, there are also centuries-old plane trees from the Napoleon period.
