Take a day trip through the Atherton Tablelands to Lake Eacham. If it's hot , jump in for a swim. If it's cool and misty, take the board walk circuit and maybe bump into some of the local wildlife.

Any daytime through the Tablelands should take in some of the local waterfalls. If it's hot, you should take a plunge at nearby Malanda Falls.

Bring warmer clothes !

At 400 metres, Mt Molloy is less humid and so much cooler than the coast. In the winter months , make sure to pack warmer clothes . The coldest I've ever known is 4° C overnight ,though 8°-10° is more usual. The days in mid winter tend to stay around the mid 20s.
