Garibaldi square is the oldest big square of Nice. Right next to the port, it is a lively place to have an aperitif or eat sea food in the famous restaurant "le café de Turin".
It's also the starting point for a very nice walk towards the public park of the old castle (that doesn't exist any longer) on top of the hill overlooking the port and the angel bay...

Come and visit one of the most beautiful spot of the French Riviera : Saint Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula.
No doubt you'll be seduced by the landscape and the houses beauty. I recommend to take the Maurice Rouvier promenade from Beaulieu sur Mer up to Cap Ferrat downtown and from there you can keep going all around the peninsula following seaside pathways with several opportunities to have a swim. My favorite beach is La Fosse or Paloma.
Another option is to visit the Ephrussi de Rothschild villa and to stroll in its wonderful garden overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
