Sightseeing

This trail goes along the Willamette River waterfront and ends at Monteith Park. You can easily walk from the house to this trail, which is 2 blocks away. From there, it's a 15-20 minute walk (or 5-8 minutes on bike/blades/board) to most of the downtown dining and shopping.

This is the highest point in the Oregon Coastal Range and is easy to access via mostly paved (until the end) roads. On a clear day, you can see the ocean, the Cascade Range mountains, and even Mt. St. Helen's!

A perfect place for many outdoor activities, Bryant is a big park with a comprehensive disc golf course that winds through the woods, has easy access to the river, and baseball fields. It's a favorite for picnics and for exploring the trails on the disc golf course.
