One of the main features of the rustic inspired café is the Brew Bar, offering customers a memorable experience and alternative brewing techniques. With all coffee beans roasted on site, the roastery creates an aromatic coffee hub boasting the finest house blends and single origins from across the globe.
The seasonal (and fresh!) menu provides a certain ardour to food lovers that visit the café including boutique street food, a unique degustation experience during the EKKA, as well as a regular homage to the classics. A takeaway cabinet is every ramblers’ dream; filled with fresh sandwiches, salads and house-made sweets.

The building is also home for the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Queensland Youth Choir, Queensland Wind and Brass, Brisbane River City Clippers Barbershop Chorus, Queensland Rhythmic Gymnastics Organisation, Queensland Police Pipes and Drums and the Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Company.
The play Troilus and Cressida by William Shakespeare, was also presented in the Old Museum building in 1989. Members of the cast included Geoffrey Rush, Jane Menelaus and Russell Dykstra.
The Old Museum building was also used as one of the sites for the 1980s Australian series of "Mission: Impossible"!
