If you’re on the west shore, especially in summer and don’t want to drive to Tahoe City for something you forgot to pick up, go here! They have a surprisingly good selection of things for being small (I’m talking even things like oat milk and gluten free beer, along with fresh bread and hamburgers. They also make great sandwiches and salads at their deli which is great to grab and go to the beach or on a boat.

This is the Raley’s version of Wholefoods and a really beautiful store. Great stop on the way in if you didn’t grocery shop before coming up. Local secret is that it’s also a cheap and delicious spot to make a custom pizza ($8.99) which they bake in their pizza oven (they even have vegan meat and gf crust options). We often order a pizza, before doing our shopping and pick it up on the way out (then eat it in the car on the way to the cabin).

Raley’s O-N-E Market
10001 Soaring WayThis is the Raley’s version of Wholefoods and a really beautiful store. Great stop on the way in if you didn’t grocery shop before coming up. If you’re staying in King’s Beach this is your best spot to grocery shop, especially in the summer when turning left on North Tahoe Boulevard is backed up to Speedboat Avenue. The quality and selection is pretty good too.

Nothing here you can’t buy grocery-wise from Raley’s but a good spot to pick something up quickly. The best part of this market is the deli, great sandwiches! Parking in the back if there isn’t street parking.
