Winter warmth + safety
Jasper can get really cold in the winter. Make sure to bring lots of layers, hats, and gloves. Also, make sure to wear proper footwear like warm boots. If you are planning on heading outside of the townsite for a nature walk, you should have a pair of ice cleats to prevent a slip and fall. Ice cleats can be purchased in town at almost all of the stores.
When you are out sightseeing, make sure to have some extra clothing layer in your vehicle in case of a breakdown or accident.

Winter can provide a lot of reprieve for business owners in Jasper, and it's not uncommon that restaurants and retail stores may shut down for a period of time, especially in November.
Make sure that your check websites and social media before heading out to make sure that your desired location is open!
