Wonderful place to visit and take a ride on the old steam trains. Just a short drive from here. They also do all sorts of events - from murder mystery to lunch on the Pullman. Worth checking out or just paying a visit. The volunteers tend to be wonderful and full of local knowledge.

GETTING AROUND

This is a small village with lots of wonderful places to walk. getting around in the area - there are several choices. Ideally it’s best to have a car. Good value rental cars are Parker’s Haywards Heath and Enterprise Cars Haywards Heath. There is a bus service - the timetable is usually in the kitchen next to the blackboard. It’s the A272 bus service. There are two choices of taxi services: Station Taxis Haywards Heath (tend to be most reliable) and Evo Cars Haywards Heath.
