Drinks & Nightlife

With its blacked-out windows, perpetual karaoke, and elderly drag queens, Poison Ivy is a gay bar from a bygone era. Make no mistake, there is nothing overly hip about this place. But the drinks are very cheap, and as the alcohol sets in you'll discover the charm hidden just behind its dingy facade. It's also really close to some of the more upscale gay establishments in Kemp Town, making it a good place for pre-drinks.
