Purchase local cider, local gifts, and Vermont-made cards. The staff is friendly, the check-out was efficient, the atmosphere is good. Produce is very fresh, mostly local, and plentiful. They also have a large selection of bulk foods area which are well stocked.

Sweet Cafe! Stop in for artisan coffee, tea, and locally made baked goods. All of the offerings (quiche, bread, baked goods) are delicious. The staff are super sweet. I love that they had board games and kids books available. Live music (jazz). A lovely space with great energy.

Their ingredients are often organic and locally sourced and they offer plenty of gluten free options. Owner Zalhar transports you to his Middle Eastern roots through his dishes and décor. You too can enjoy Zalha’s favorite regional flavors by ordering one of his signature Yalla Yalla bowls. Bowls come with your choice of fresh ingredients including falafel and hummus. Just leave off the pita to make it gluten free. Limited hours - check before going.

We've been coming to this bookstore for years and almost weekly. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They not only sell books but also gifts, cards, calendars, etc. Very community based. The owners Pat and Alan have donated a tremendous amount of time and support for local schools as well as non-profits. If they aren't at the store they are helping someone out in some way. We highly recommend this bookstore. It's a true gem!
