Helen Hunt Falls
3440 North Cheyenne Canyon RoadOne of our favorite hikes at the top of North Cheyenne Cañon. Drive all the way to the top parking lot. Park in the gravel lot above Helen Hunt Falls. Take the double track that heads west through a large metal gate. On the other side is High Drive- DO NOT TAKE THIS. If you go through a metal gate, heading east and have views overlooking COS, this is the wrong direction. Take the double track for 0.8 miles (seeing fewer and fewer people as you walk) and you'll run into the creek. The trailhead starts there. I've run into a lot of people over the years who accidentally hike up High Drive...they don't have a good time. If you're heading east, up a steep grade- turn around.

The best place to get coffee is just down the street! The Moca freeze is my husband’s favorite, mine is the lavender cold brew with soft top and my son’s is the mango smoothie :)
