This waterfall, also known as “Cachoeira da Penha”, is located at the Paraty-Cunha Road, near to the Headquarters of the Gold Path Touristic Information Center and to “Igreja da Penha” (“Penha´s Church”).

Toboggan waterfall and Tarzan Pit
This waterfall, also known as “Cachoeira da Penha”, is located at the Paraty-Cunha Road, near to the Headquarters of the Gold Path Touristic Information Center and to “Igreja da Penha” (“Penha´s Church”).

Reaching the beach, go to the left side of it, cross the river and find a spot to stop and enjoy. Take water and snacks with you. There is a rustic kiosk where they serve food.
There are 4 beaches with diferent characteristics: for those who like surfing, hiking, beches, waterfall and home made food.
During high season it gets crowded. Avoid it.

mamanguá is considerd the brazilian fiorde. You ride to Paraty Mirim and from there you take a small boat to Mamanguá.
There you can just comtemplate the amazing view, snorkel, kayak and, for those who like and adventure, hike to Pâo de Açúcar.
Hike in the middle of the forest to a 440 meters high mountain. From there you have a breath taking.
