This is a hike without the walking! ;) Just drive up Lariat Loop Road outside of Golden to get some amazing sweeping views of Colorado’s front range. Golden is also a cute town, so take a walk on Clear Creek Trail in downtown Golden.

When hiking at altitude, please remember to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your hike to avoid altitude sickness.
This is a short hike close to Denver with a big payoff—a gorgeous lake at the end with plenty of space to roam and relax at the top.
