This is our local fave! It's small, romantic, and the food and wine is top notch every time. Oftentimes you'll catch a solo musician serenading the patrons in the evenings. You can't go wrong with a visit to Monet's. Make sure to say hi to the owner Jen if you get a chance to meet her.

We love Lafayette for the scene (the patio is to die for!), the music (life music most nights), the food (deeeelish!), and the Sunday morning brunch - bottomless mimosas!!!! The owner Fred Imbert is a transplant from France. He and his wife Ashley can be found most nights serving their guests and filling their glasses. And if you're a solo traveler the bar is a fabulous place to spend an evening.

We love Frosty King for the cute outdoor casual flair. They have yummy American food (burgers, fries, shakes) and Mexican options as well! This is a great place for families with little kiddos (and don't forget your quarters for the toy machines out front!)
