Sidecar is a gem. Tucked on a side street of Rantzausgade, it looks like the most beautiful restaurant but works like café, with prices to match – great breakfast and lunch plates for cheap, and you can sit all day on the laptop. The perfect place to stumble to on an early morning.

If you don't know Ethiopian food, think one big pancake sort of thing, with a dozen different vegetable and meat stews in individual piles on top. Enjoy with your hands! Always a diverse crowd in age and background.
