Food Scene

One of the most charming coffee shops in town. Housed in an old colonial building in an older part of the city, you will find this place very quaint for food and pictures. Very instagram friendly :)

This is a hidden gem in KL for vegetarians. Infact, it's also a great place for those of us who like to have some vegetarian once in a while. Only known to locals, this is a must visit :)

Drinks & Nightlife

Amazing helipad bar, with a 360degree view of Kuala Lumpur. I highly recommend you go at 6pm, just in time for Happy Hours, and catch the sunset, take a gazillion selfies, and then walk back to my apartment :)

Sightseeing

You can catch this bus a few hundred meters away from the apartment. It's an awesome bus because you pay a flat rate and it takes you all around Kuala Lumpur, at all the famous spots, and you can get off and on as many times as you like! Highly recommended if you just like to be taken around for a day trip :)

Parks & Nature

This is a limestone cave where local hindus consider to be sacred. It is one of the few natural limestone caves in KL that is still intact (the other caves are almost all but destroyed in the name of development. It also has a special cave section for education to visitors called The Dark Cave tour, and this is run by volunteers - this is indeed a very unique experience for anyone who wants to go into the heart of a limestone cave and see all the insects and animals that live inside. A very good visit! And highly recommended!

Arts & Culture

The Islamic Museum documents the history of Islam through the ages. Many of my guests have been to this museum and it comes highly recommended :) You should Uber to this place if possible. Alternatively, take the LRT to Masjid Jamek stop, and walk from there.
