So, if you like me prefer lactose-free milk but do not digest soy well, this is where you are in heaven! There is no better yogurt icecream! And the sorts of toppings... I am sure you will have challenges to decide! :-)

If you love Haribo, this is the place to go! A factory outlet with all Haribo sweets you can imagine - or even what you would not even dream about. The prices are great and I am personally a big fan of their surprise boxes - you do not know what you buy but surely you will have yummy fun with it!
And the best! It is just ten minutes away from our cottage! :-)

Shopping at Duesseldorf famous shopping mile called the "Kö" is a must - even if you just window shop! All famous brands are there and you see wealthy people lining up in front of Louis Vuitton or expensive cars going by.

Enjoy the carnival season
If you are in this area around January/February enjoy the carnival season by attending to some parties or festivities. My recommendation is always to head to Cologne for Carnival - if you want to have just a bit of fun and party, you will find always something somewhere to attend to during the season!

Lorettostraße Duesseldorf
If you already hit the Yomaro icecream shop, take the time to walk down Lorettostraße! This is a great street with a lot of local shops and lovely boutiques. It is never crowded and you can not only find wonderful clothing or hand-made shops but also cool restaurants where you can in summer sit outside and visit the street life go by.
