A cute restaurant one two levels with a dark wood, intimate vibe. The place is always dimly lit, it can be a little busy on the weekends but we've found it a great place to eat, the branzino is great, so are the Tuscan red wines.

Robert De Niro's place, down on Broadway, the actual restaurant itself is beautiful and the suspended sculpture and the lighting is beautiful, perhaps sushi purists may turn their nose up but the food is indeed delicious and well presented, if you are looking for a flashy gold-lined night out-this is a great place to start..

Your place for the Manhattan breakfast experience, sit in a booth and drink un-fancy coffee served by a 'lifer' waitress who has probably worked here for twenty years, it's a stable of the local traders who want a no-fuss, no b.s meal. Good value.

Want some real Chinese food? (Not the super sweet stuff you get at ordinary American-chinese joints?) This is a great place to stop by and try out - serving tea eggs, pig ears, black rice, and other strange and wonderful we don't even know the name of....take a ride on the wild side and try something new. It's called "chinese comfort food" but be aware that it might be a bit spicy!

This is a chain breakfast/lunch restaurant, but it's a damn good one: serves fresh and light fare, salmon and avocado toast, soft boiled eggs, French platters and great coffee served in a bowl. Long tables to sit at, service is great and it's a great place to start your day and get your bearings - it's a quite and spacious place. We love it.

A view of the statue of liberty, perfect outdoor seating for summer days, and decent Tuscan fare - or just sit and sip a few drinks and enjoy the sunshine - we have been here a few times, but have not seen it to busy - so chances are you'll have some of the place to yourself! Worth a try!

This is a hidden dive bar, that serves food, it's got live music almost every night, the shutters and blinds are drawn on this place and it sometimes is concealing a full-blown party inside...you've been warned :)

Great food for a descent price, a very cozy vibe, the service is fast and the ambience is very Paris: a rotating wine list and always polite to call to reserve your seat - this place is a local favorite.

Here is the place for you to find a quick, hip, cheap grab and go lunch that isn't macdonalds or some kind of chainfood. If you're nearby Colombus Circle, drop down into the Colombus Circle subway and get down and grab an Areppa or a sushi roll...and roll...!

Just walk around the side of the Plaza or ask the doorman at the front for the "Food Hall" and he will instruct you with how to find it...underneath the plaza is a plethora of food stands and little restaurants including Vietnamese, and a wine bar and a Crepes Cafe. If you are exploring lower central park...this is a nice little spot to eat...
