Here is a list of our favourite eateries and things to do in Valla our beautiful Nambucca Valley & surrounds in this lovely region of NSW.
Valla beaches are stunning, quiet and mostly uncrowded surf beaches. Valla South Beach is patrolled and safe for swimming, all other beaches are not patrolled so swim with care and surf when the surf is up! Dog friendly and beautiful rock pools at low tide and great fishing, canoe or kayaking in the area too. At low tide you can walk all the way to Nambucca!

It's truly spectacular and makes for a great day trip from Valla pack your picnic lunch and head off for the day. You can do a short or long walk depending on your fitness level but all are stunning.
The heritage town of Bellingen is a 20 minute drive away, set on the Bellinger River in the Coffs Coast Hinterland. Bello Winter Music Festival, Bellingen Markets, a vibrant music and arts culture awaits. The charming town is on the Waterfall Way, has a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants, and its a lovely driving route that winds past UNESCO World Heritage-listed rainforest, dramatic waterfalls, sweeping valleys and granite peaks.

The heritage town of Bellingen is a 20 minute drive away, set on the Bellinger River in the Coffs Coast Hinterland. Bello Winter Music Festival, Bellingen Markets, a vibrant music and arts culture awaits. The charming town is on the Waterfall Way, has a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants, and its a lovely driving route that winds past UNESCO World Heritage-listed rainforest, dramatic waterfalls, sweeping valleys and granite peaks.
Coffs Harbour is a 30 min drive up the coast and is the main town and hub for this coastal region. Coffs Harbour Airport has direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane daily. Coffs Harbour has a lovely Jetty precinct, amazing beaches, and is known for the Big Banana monument and amusement park. In the waters off Coffs Harbour Marina is the Solitary Islands Marine Park, home to abundant wildlife, seasonal whales and coral reefs. Just east is the Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, with its large population of wedge-tailed shearwater birds and learning centre.

The town promotes itself as 'the verandah post heritage town' because most of the older buildings in town are characterised by old-style verandas which stretch out into the street and provide shade from the heat. Visit the historic museums and theatre whilst you are here.

This cute little cafe is now called Nourish Cafe & Grocer and is a great option that showcases local produce from the region, and now has a larger newer grocery section to pick up local produce for your stay. Great coffee, friendly staff and it's licensed too, so you can enjoy dinner on the weekends and live music with a wine or beer.

Qudo Cafe & Sake Bar is delicious Japanese food with a great vibe and view highly recommend this if you like Japanese it's just 25 mins drive from our place.
