Hampstead Heath is a large, ancient London park, covering 320 hectares. This grassy public space sits upon one of the highest points in London and is great for viewing the city. It has a number of great children's play parks, open grasslands, swimming ponds, walking trails and Kenwood House. It takes 22 minutes to get there on the overground from Brondesbury Park station. The station is a 12 minute walk up Salusbury Road.
