They have tons of rides for kids, and of course the Titan, Giant, and Bateman are awesome. If only the could find someway to keep us from having to wait in line! There's a restaurant and store that sells things you may have accidentally left in the car or at home, and there's lockers(expensive) available for your convenience. Tubes are free and so are floaties. Even though check in for your hotel room isn't until like 3 or 4, you can get into the water park at 1pm

This is one of my favorite spots in Dallas! My family and I love to come and walk this bridge. You get a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. You must check it out at sunset - the skyline is gorgeous!
If you get there early enough, you can find a place for your car right near the bridge. If not, no worries, as street parking is readily available along the Trinity River, it just makes for a longer walk. The good news is that it is all free.

Ronald Kirk Pedestrian BridgeThis is one of my favorite spots in Dallas! My family and I love to come and walk this bridge. You get a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. You must check it out at sunset - the skyline is gorgeous!

Worth the view where Oswald allegedly killed JFK and the American Dream. Loads of pictures and an auto self tour.Parking at the immediate lot is $10. Tickets for entry were $16/adult (senior citizens, youth and kids) and comes with an audio tour. It is well worth it. The museum centers on JFK's assassination and the events that occurred days before and after it.

A place you must visit. We entered the reunion tower threw the Hyatt hotel. It was $17 per adult. Took the elevator up over 40 stories. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. When you get up to the top there is a small bar, many touch screen tv for additional information, and ofcourse the view.
The touch screen boards give you access to information/history about Dallas, places they suggest to visit, theme of lighting's during events, and live cameras hooked up that you can control in real time.

300 Reunion Blvd EA place you must visit. We entered the reunion tower threw the Hyatt hotel. It was $17 per adult. Took the elevator up over 40 stories. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. A great place for a hike and its only 20-30 minutes outside of Dallas! There are numerous trails and a number have good changes in elevation considering its so close to Dallas. Trails are primarily shaded and are marked very well.

Llyod park at joe pool lake is one of my favorite places to take the family. Not only do they have a huge beach area with tons of sand, volley ball court, tables and gazebos, but its so very clean. There's no trash laying around and people clean up after themselves very well. They have a roped off swimming area where it's shallow enough for kids but good for adults too. For an all day pass it's only $10 and it's worth it! You can also rent spots for camping or parties. Sitting back on the sand while kids are happily playing makes for a great day. Bring a cooler of drinks and don't forget your sunscreen. Guaranteed a great day!
