A lively restaurant and cocktail bar that turns into a nightclub come late. Great cocktails (but they are pricey) and a late night bbq in the covered gardens makes for a trendy bar scene in converted Georgian buildings.

There's always something going on in Whelan's and the crowd is always friendly. Live music happens here almost every day of the week so make sure to check out the website before you go to score some tickets. Very low-key, chilled vibe but lots of fun.

This museum was once a working jail and there is so much history crammed within its walls, particularly if you have an interest in learning about the Irish resistance to British rule as many Irish rebels were imprisoned and executed here. Great for history lovers!

A little bit of heaven in the city - a beautiful park that will be full of office workers on their lunch break if the sun is shining. Located at the top of Grafton Street and beside the Luas Green line, this is a welcomed break from the busy shopping streets.

Way back, Fade Street was a part of the largest red-light district in Europe and the building in which this restaurant is used to be a tenement building. Not any more. It is now home to lots of restaurants and bars, with The Market Bar always being popular. If you're in a group, there will most definitely be a wait but it's usually. Interesting decor and no-music policy allowed but don't let that put you off: the tapas are good and will set you up for the night.
