organic sourdough is best around - not full of air holes! Also good coffee and range of pastries and lunch food items. Don't be in a rush though as can be a little slow, open early. There is another outlet on Regent St just near the Police Station but they usually run out of bread and rolls by 10am so suggest you go to the actual bakery opp Redfern Park.

Set menu used to be good value but has changed ownership and dropped in standard and service, not a large wine list but good range, indoor seating very comfortable, and has outdoor tables if you have pets or rowdy children!

Very busy on weekends (avoid at 8am Saturday when at least 500 runners do a park run) and early mornings with dog walkers but a lovely park with running water, swans and ducks, and a great cafe!
