Oxford Grillehouse is one of our favorites especially for dinner. Located right on the historic Oxford Square. We haven't had a bad meal there, ever. Steaks are fabulous. If you like creamed spinach - try their's. It is excellent. I recommend reservations whenever available. They do sometimes refuse reservations and seat first come/first serve. Calling ahead to find out will decrease your wait time.

If you love southern comfort foods and a casual atmosphere, you will enjoy Ajax. Their menu is filled with southern foods including vegetables. They have a bar and small booths in the front and tables & larger booths in the restaurant seating area. Ajax is located on The Oxford Square.

If you are looking for Asian cuisine, we recommend The Noodle Bowl on Jackson Ave. When dining in they will serve courses that will make your meal interesting and even more enjoyable. They also have carry out which our family has utilized often. From appetizers to sushi to full entrees, The Noodle Bowl is sure to have choices to satisfy everyone in our party.

If your looking for Mexican food, Casa Mexicana (in our opinion) is the best choice in Oxford. Their food is delicious, the margaritas are great and the host & servers have always been very attentive to our party. Casa is our Mexican restaurant of choice.

For Breakfast --- Big Bad Breakfast is going to be hard to beat! They have multiple iron skillet options and breakfast foods that may have you skipping lunch. It is a local favorite that is now known by celebrity visitors as well. BBB is THE breakfast location in Oxford. Arrive early and expect to wait.
Driving Directions: Turn left out of the driveway and travel south on HWY 7. Go to the first exit which is HWY 30/Molly Barr exit and continue right. Continue to the 4way stop red-light and turn left onto N Lamar Blvd. Travel approximately 1 mile. BBB will be in a shopping center to the right side of N Lamar. (It is located in the very back of the shopping center parking lot)

Located on the historic Oxford Square, Boure offers an incredible menu filled cajun style choices. Upstairs you will find a full bar and balcony that overlooks The Square. Boure is a local and out of town guest favorite. Reservations recommended.

The Wine Bar is located on South Lamar of the historic Oxford Square. Although the name may indicate a winery atmosphere, The Wine Bar is more of a quaint restaurant with a beautiful bar atmosphere. They use a lot of local ingredients for a fresh farm-to-table menu. They serve seasonal wines as well as some of the best beers, whiskeys, bourbons, vodkas, and scotches in the world. The Wine Bar is one of our favorite locations for drinks and appetizers.

Sardis Lake is a 98,520-acre reservoir on the Little Tallahatchie River in Lafayette, Panola, and Marshall counties, Mississippi. Sardis Lake is impounded by Sardis Dam, located nine miles southeast of the town of Sardis. The lake is highly popular with anglers and has an abundant supply of bass and crappie. Dollar General is a quick GO TO spot for forgotten essentials. They do not have everything you would find at Kroger or Walmart but for an easy drive and quick in and out ... Dollar General is my go to location.
Driving Directions: From the house, turn left onto HWY 7. Go approx 1 mile to the HWY30/Molly Barr exit. Continue right. Go to the 4 way red-light at N Lamar Blvd. Turn left. Dollar General is on the right maybe a half mile from the 4way.
