The Meridian at the Headlands resort has done a good job of leveraging local and fresh into their high end menu. Expect $75 a plate for dinner, but lunch can be more affordable and if you linger over the stunning views, they won't care. AND YOU CAN WALK THERE FROM OUR HOUSE!

Good fish tacos, incredible breakfast burritos. We order the chicken burrito bowl and split it. If you have a hard time finding a place to sit, go out back and sit by the dumpster where the wet suit business thrives. Reminds me of high school in Laguna Beach. WALK HERE FROM OUR HOUSE.

Go to the top of the hill South on the 3 capes scenic loop and take the 5 mile round trip hike out to the end of the cape on a trail through the forest that provides views to the North and South along the way. Take a walking stick and water proof shoes in season.
