If you're into big yachts or the British monarch, this is the place to visit! Also has a mini museum on board of gifts from all the places the Queen visited on the boat.

Karaoke anyone?! Private rooms you can hire, in varying sizes - a great stop on a night out to embarrass yourself as you attempt to sing Ice Ice Baby from heart. (Definitely speaking from experience here)

Absolutely delicious hot sandwiches. These things are HUGE. Just around the corner from the house, so it's worth a stop in if you're 'home' for lunch (or even dinner). They're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The nearby shopping centre has a few of the essentials you'd expect, like an H&M, Starbucks, and Boots, but also a bunch of things you wouldn't expect. A roller skating rink, a museum of local history, a Vue cinema, juice bar, some chain restaurants set against floor-to-ceiling windows beside the water, a gym, and a massive yacht previously owned by the Queen.

Neighbourhoods

This little town by the beach is technically part of Edinburgh, and is well served by Lothian Buses. There's a long promenade along the waterfront, lovely sandy beach great for dog-watching (or swimming if you're bold) and some great cafes, bars, and eateries. I recommend Civerinos for a hearty slice of pizza!
