Well, this is a bit of a crazy, weird place. In a beautiful setting by the Blanco river is Pioneer Town - a full reconstruction of a Wild West town. Great with Kids, and the people running the Cowboy Museum (in the middle of the town) are fantastic.

Wimberley is a quaint little village, and you can't miss at least spending a morning there walking around the Square. The first Saturday of every month is Wimberley Market Days - if you're around, make sure to stop there early!
This is a shop not to miss in Dowtown Wimberley. Whenever we walk in and smell the palo santo, we just immediately feel great. And maybe tempted to get a plant or two.

Just over 15 minutes away, Dripping Springs has a different vibe to Wimberley. It's main road, Mercer Street, still has a frontier town feel and is worth a visit. MOST SHOPS ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS.
