The Battery is very close to our house and we visit quite frequently. We love to go for a Braves game or even just to grab some ice cream from Jeni's or Gelato from Antico's. Take a break on the Green on warm days and grab a Frose to go from C. Ellet's.

Hiking
This is one of our favorite hikes in the Atlanta area. It has an incredible overlook deck with a view of the Chattahoochee River and the Cumberland area. There is also a Bamboo forest a little further down which is very cool. Give yourself half a day to complete this hike, it isn't a quick one!

East Palisades Unit--Indian Trail
1425 Indian Trail NWThis is one of our favorite hikes in the Atlanta area. It has an incredible overlook deck with a view of the Chattahoochee River and the Cumberland area. City Stroll, Bars, Restaurants, and Shopping
We love walking on the Eastside Beltline Trail close to Ponce City Market. We normally start at Piedmont Park by Park Tavern and make our way over to the trail and walk down to the Beltline Kroger. They have a great outdoor patio where you can grab drinks and sit outside and people watch. Ponce City Market is right beside Kroger where you can enjoy eclectic shopping, bars, restaurants, and activities. Old Fourth Ward Park is very nice as well and is right down from PCM. Also, check out New Realm Brewery if you want a trendy and lively spot to grab food and drinks.
