Food scene

A quick 15 minute ferry ride from Cousins island will get you to Chebeague Island. You can shuttle or walk up to the Inn. There’s also a 9 hole golf course that sits in front of the Inn. We like to stop at the beach to look for sea glass with the kids first. Typically they enjoy some ice cream while we sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset. There are board games & outdoor games that are fun for the kids. Or turn your visit into a romantic night out and enjoy the amazing food at the restaurant while watching the sunset over Casco Bay. One of our favorite spots!

Our friend owns this restaurant along with Blyth & Burrows (on Exchange St.) Both places are our favorite spots to visit in Portland on date night. Stop at Blyth for a cocktail and app before heading to Via V for dinner. You won’t be disappointed!

Our friend owns this business and I must say that it’s the most authentic Maine boat tour that you could take. You’ll meet some true Mainah’s while learning about lobstering in Maine. Lend a hand pulling up lobster pots. Our kids loved this tour! This is the best way to see the Maine coastline. Tom will take you by Portland Headlight, Bug Light, and Fort Gorgeous. You’ll likely spot Porpoises as well.

Our favorite spot for a day trip. Shop, eat & explore. Visit our friends at AE Home Store for amazing Maine inspired ceramics. Visit the Botanical Gardens, rent kayaks, or book a trip to Cabbage Island for a lobster bake. Either way enjoy the beauty & history of this small town.
