It's gorgeous and a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. I like the Bronx Botanical Garden more, but this one is great during the Cherry Blossom Festival.

This park is as iconic as Central Park. It moves like a vein through New York, giving the user a glimpse from up above.

The Tenement Museum is a great place to learn about the history of our city's roots. You'll be transported back in time to see how early immigrants lived in the tenements on the lower East side. The tours typically last one hour and usually require stair climbing. Not good for children under 6. Check their website for tours and times. Reservations are a must!

Lady Liberty!! You can't leave New York without giving her a visit. Make sure you buy your tickets online or at the Battery Fort. You will meet people along the way trying to sell you tickets at 'reduced' fares...STAY AWAY. A free way to see her is by taking the Staten Island ferry...but you won't stop on the island.
