Love Slate Coffee Bar. Small coffee house that offers lots! Unlike other coffee house where you order at the register then pick up your coffee then find a table. It's full service here.

Very good wood-fired thin crust pizza in the neighborhood. They've got some nice flavor options, so it's not too hard to choose a pizza (they kind of nailed the ingredient/topping combos), and if you're just running by, you can pick it up by the slice for a pretty sweet deal. It's a bit pricy, but I'd say it's worth it every now and then for a pie to share with friends/family.

Brimmer & Heeltap, brought to you by the same folks as Joule and Revel, focuses on a very savory flavor profile with less Asian influence than its other restaurant cousins. It definitely feels like a warm, after-work libations spot with hearty food to match. Based on the name, I expected more typical bar food and was pleasantly surprised that the dishes here can stand on their own.

It is rather tiny with just 2 tables below and a few tables upstairs but that is the charm of it. It's a great cozy spot to grab a book and read or chat with regulars. Nice choices for drinks and apparently they have amazing loaded waffles. The tea and hot cocoa were great. The place buzzed with many people that seemed regulars

Great staff, great food, fun little upscale but not pretentious joint. Service is always fantastic and I've yet to leave feeling disappointed in my two dozen or so visits. Great breakfast menu and the sliders are amazing. Love this place. It's small and I've never been there for dinner, more of a Sunday morning hair of the dog place for me so can't speak to dinner wait times. For a good breakfast and a yummy strong Bloody Mary it's hard to beat though.

This is our go-to spot for breakfast. We're big fans of Mexican-influenced breakfast, and The Dish nails it everytime. Good coffee, excellent selection of hot sauce. We've been here frequently and I have never had any complaints about the service. It's small, so it's noisy and tight, but you know that as soon as you walk in. On busy weekends they put a coffee cart outside so you can help yourself.

A great mix of people, yard games, and delicious beer. Not to mention the cool food truck parked out back as well. Outdoor seating and heaters/fire pits for when the sun sets. Great stop for the entire family, including the pets!

They have a good selection, leaning more heavily on the hoppy spectrum, and they're all done well. The brewery was very family friendly, and while it's a bit small, they did manage to pack quite a good number of tables and bar seats in the space. If you're visiting Seattle for beer, definitely make it a point to stop by Stoup.

Prices are quite fair compared to other zoos I have gone too. I reaped more rewards of seeing many animals at this zoo compared to others which barely had any animals. Seeing all the green trees, moss, flowers, plants, rocks and dew rolling off the landscape brought me back to feeling whole.

I loved the variety of plants there, and I love how you can just roam through the flowers as you please, and that there's no restricting paths or fenced off areas. The Rose Garden is well cared for. Right next to the front gate, and take a stroll through the rose garden. You won't regret it.

One of Seattle's tourist destinations. Build nearly a hundred years ago by the army corps this place is the exit and entrance to the sound from Lake Union and Washington. During the summer you can watch all sizes of boats pass through. The locks fill and empty pretty fast so you don't have to wait very long. If you walk along the backside of the damn it leads you from Ballard to Magnolia and down into the fish ladder. During different times of the year you are able to see salmon swim into Lake Union. On the Ballard side there is a lot of open space and gardens to explore.

Definitely a place to go when you hit seattle. Hopefully you were as lucky as we were and the sky was completely clear and you can see all the mountains surrounding seattle. It's pretty awesome. You see the mountain ranges surrounding Seattle and they are definitely a beautiful sight.

Definitely one place to check out in Seattle! It is tourist city central here! There are tons of vendors and little shops with knick knacks, plants, homemade things, and good eats in the entire area. The main food place to check out for sure is pike chowder (look at my other review for more information on that!) Lots of great desserts as well as the first Starbucks which is extremely popular. There are also things such as the gum wall and fish toss that are pretty popular as well!

So many iconic Seattle attractions here. An obvious key site for tourists and locals in this beautiful city. I highly recommend getting the City Pass to allow you access to many of these sites. It's a great deal. The sites that are here, and easily accessible via Monorail or walking from downtown: Space needle: day/night views Chiluly glass museum EMD museum Science center It's also adjacent to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The area includes a park with really nice art and good photo opportunities of the needle. There are also many gift shops, cafes, and places to grab a bite!

Gotta love a grown up, kid friendly burger place. Good selection of burgers and love how they have special ones too. But the thing that keeps me coming back is the haystack onions (onion straws)! They are magical, super greasy but delicious!!! They have stuff to keep kids occupied. Coloring sheets are always a win! Love the saddle seats! What kid doesn't want to sit on a saddle when eating!! Great beer selection! Also have beers to go!

Okay, this is really a five-star place, with or without the beer. If you're looking for good food, this is it. If you're looking for good beer, this is it.
