The highest volcano on the North Shore, beautiful place to walk, great views of Auckland city and surrounding suburbs. Cute little red and white mushroom statues on it (disguising the air vents from a water pumping station built into the mountain). The Devonport Folk Club meets at 8pm on Monday nights at the "Bunker" on Mount Victoria, anyone is welcome to attend for a nominal entrance fee.
