A spectacular canal running for 28 miles (45 km) between Seabrook near Folkestone and Cliff End near Hastings, following the old cliff line bordering Romney Marsh, which was constructed as a defence against the possible invasion of England during the Napoleonic Wars. Ideal for walking, running and cycling.

No visit is complete without visiting the Leas Coastal Park (includes the free biggest outdoor play area in Europe!) and the thriving Harbour Arm and lighthouse where you can find yet more independent restaurants, a restored train station, stunning views across the Channel and White Cliffs whilst enjoying ice cream and waffles... perfect!
