Què t'has d'emportar

4 Seasons in one day!

We are known for having all 4 seasons in 1 day. Be prepared. Even if it looks like a hot summers day ensure you have a waterproof jacket to hand. It can also be cold, even in summer so please remember to dress for Scottish weather and be prepared for it to change very quickly without warning. Comfortable shoes and wellies for children never go wrong.

Wellies are a must!

We do get wet weather all year, wellies in the car are a must for those small puddle jumping feet.

Public transport in rural areas

We live in a vast and remote area. Public transport within Inverness tends to be good with regular buses and train services to areas out with Inverness. If you are planning to use public transport for travelling further afield check the timetables and plan in advance. Booking on travel to Edinburgh, Glasgow, The Isle of Skye and Western Isles is essential.
