I love Barhop! It is super casual and they have lots of unique Northwest beers on tap. This is a great spot for groups because they have lots of tables so you can spread out. They have delicious thin-crust, artisan pizza. The atmosphere inside much, but outside during the summer you can't beat it. After a long hike or a day at the beach, grab a beer and a spot outside and enjoy a summer night looking out toward Canada, and savor the natural beauty of Port Angeles.

This restaurant is our favorite, and it's right in our neighborhood! We love Thai food, and it's a safe bet you won't be disappointed either! They are extremely popular, so plan ahead and order takeout or make a reservation. A bit on the expensive side, but super delicious.

Breathtaking. I can't rave about this place enough. It is Northwest beauty at its finest. You can visit the lodge and grab hot chocolate, a drink, or lunch. It's pretty fancy and expensive to eat here, so we recommend just packing a lunch for a perfect picnic. In the summer we love coming here to swim, kayak, and paddleboard. Kayaks are available to rent at the lodge if you don't bring your own. You just have to go, you won't regret it.

Our favorite place to surf! Ah this beach is fabulous. It is super sandy and has a gentle slope so there is a lot of room for beginning surfers to practice if they want to stick closer to shore. It can be wild out here—being the next store neighbor to the most Northwest corner of the U.S. if it's too stormy to get in the water, you can take a hike at Cape Flattery.

A beautiful lake that requires a hike to access. It is a flat route, and built on boardwalk planks almost the whole way. Be careful when it's cold out, those planks can be a bit slippery! It is a beautiful lake and the hike is a loop that crosses by the ocean for a portion of it.

This is a must-see to take in stunning views of the Olympic Mountain Range. This is a must-see to take in stunning views of the Olympic Mountain Range. Perfect for hiking and exploring and picnics in summer and ideal for snowshoeing and adventurous skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Don't forget the hot chocolate and chains in the winter, it can be wooly up there—but worth it!
An iconic hike, but not for the faint of heart! I'm afraid of heights so I haven't been on this one, but Aerl has been and says it is beautiful. Lots of folks have pictures from here, with the beautiful Lake Crescent as their backdrop. It can be dangerous so recommend that you don't do this one alone.

An iconic hike, but not for the faint of heart! I'm afraid of heights so I haven't been on this one, but Aerl has been and says it is beautiful. Lots of folks have pictures from here, with the beautiful Lake Crescent as their backdrop. It can be dangerous so recommend that you don't do this one alone.
A rain forest, on the Olympic Peninsula—you betcha. And you've got to check it out. There are peaceful hikes that you can take through the area—it is a bit of a journey out there, but well worth it.

There are lots of waterfalls in this corner of the U.S. but this is one of my favorites. Enjoy the hike through the rain forest and cross the old wooden bridge over the falls. Again, you're going to want your camera, the falls are stunning.
