A beautiful setting facing the river Thames, just minutes from the flat and a very stylish cocktail lounge for pre-after dinner drinks. The service and food is excellent. It is rather pricey so for us it is sometimes a birthday, Valentine or pre-Christmas treat. c.10 mins walk from the flat.

Going to a Michelin-starred chef's restaurant within a garden centre isn't the first place that comes to mind as the obvious choice however it is a beautiful place, wonderful food and although expensive for a la carte lunches / dinners, there is also a more reasonably priced cafe for lunches and snacks during the day. Ex-michelin star chef, Skye Gyngell has been there for a while now after deciding that the michelin star was more of a curse than a blessing. Be warned, parking during the summer months, on weekend days can be a problem so I suggest parking up nearby and walking at weekends during the summer.
