Walk from Westminster to Tower Bridge takes 50 min - 1 h (2,5 mile) but it's totally worth it. You will see most of the famous sites like Westminster, Westminster Abbey, Globe Theater, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Tower Bridge, and Tower of London. You can take a ferry back from Tower Bridge to Westminster (use Oyster or contactless payments, as it's much cheaper than a paper ticket)!

It's quite far so we only recommend it if you are staying for approx. a week. You can take a ferry from central London (quite expensive but very enjoyable) or take a train from Waterloo (approx 30 min). It's a very posh area of London with massive park full of free-roaming deers. Just be advised that it's not best to approach deers during mating season as stags can get quite territorial and can charge you if you get too close.

Travel with oyster or contactless card

You can buy oyster card for £5 in most of the overground stations. You will get the £5 back when you return it. You can also travel with the contactless card but please remember to use the same card. We also recommend to take a ferry on the Thames river. The cheapest way is to use the oyster/contactless card to pay for it. You will have amazing views of the river and loads of famous buildings to look at.
