Sightseeing

5* Great place to visit if you interested in coal mining history. Entry is free (although for some strange reason there is a parking charge) Take the guided tour which goes down an original mineshaft in a original lift. The tours are conducted by ex-miners who tell great stories but also capture what life was like. Also take in the multi-media tour & visit the museum. The whole visit can take between 3-4 hours (great on a wet day).
