Delicious bbq-style, with larger menu than the brewery out back. This is a very popular spot and there is often a wait so try to go a little early or a little late and you should be able to get in.

Great pizza and nice bar. If you don’t feel like eating in our favorite move is to head out back and grab slices to take home. Pop them in the oven on a baking sheet at 450 for 5 minutes and they’re perfect!

The Hen is one of my favorite restaurants in Vermont and yes, it is worth the hype. You can try and roll the dice with a last minute reservation but if you know you want to go advanced reservations are highly recommended.

The best breakfast sandwich you will ever eat! Call ahead if you’d like then you can just swing in and pick up. Make sure to also grab some delicious baked goods. Our favorites are the homemade donuts and pop tarts, blueberry muffins, and maple scones.

Great breakfast sandwich on homemade English muffin and fantastic sandwiches at lunch as well. I pretty obsessed with their Muffuletta – it’s so delicious!! Keep in mind they are closed on Sunday and Monday

Grocery/Beverages

It’s the smaller of the two grocery stores but where we do all our shopping due to their broader offering of local products. It’s also nice when you forget something on the other side of the grocery store and you don’t have to walk a mile to go back and get it – haha!!

Local liquor store. Note, in Vermont you cannot buy liquor at the grocery store, only beer and wine. You can also fuel up here and they have gas and diesel.
