Small active city with lots of eating choices and several music venues. Could easily spend a day here walking around the town to eateries, coffee, artisan shops, checking out the Smith College Indoor Gardens. Fairly active night life too.

Turners Falls is approximately 30 minutes east and south of Shelburne Falls. It has its own charm with some eccentric bars, eateries, some found goods stores, music venues, and a pin ball game room.

Some of the located underneath the canopy of MASS MoCA and others in the town itself: The Public and the HiLo are both places I enjoy going regularly.
