These are the BEST burgers in the state (and the Food Network agrees). The Roadhouse is small and can be quite busy, so I'd recommend going early, before 11:30 AM, or later around 1:30 PM, so you don't have to wait.

Another great locally owned restaurant, The Block has incredibly creative sandwiches, like a lobster mac & cheese sandwich, or a jalapeño popper sandwich. All the sandwiches are grilled and they have a great selection of local microbrews.

Fantastic pizzas and salads. And if you go, ask for their "secret menu." My favorite is the Honey Badger.

This iconic tiki bar has been featured in GQ magazine as one of the top lounges to visit while traveling. Theres a pool behind the bar with mermaids (and sometimes mermen). And there's an organist who plays and sings old-school songs like Mack the Knife and Sweet Caroline. The place is always packed on the weekends.

Located at Giant Springs State Park, this 201-foot river is the shortest in the United States. There's also a fish hatchery next to it. Bring some change for fish-food and you can feed the trout.
