Nuevo Pocitos neighborhood, is located in the center of Montevideo. A small coastal area that delimits with Pocitos and Buceo, which still retains many dyes of the old city of Montevideo, not having completely transformed into a neighborhood of tall buildings and modern constructions has ancient and modern features that make it both picturesque and charismatic and worth knowing.

The Buceo Port has in a couple of decades changed from a residential area to a vibrant ’barrio’, built around the World Trade Centre complex with its high rise office buildings and the Montevideo Shopping Mall, biggest in town. In the area new high class restaurants, hotels and condominiums are popping up. This is the new financial and business center, where during daytime businessmen from all over the world are seen on their way to meetings, but also the new nightlife and entertainment center, where numerous night clubs, restaurants, pubs and bars are attracting tourists and locals alike.
