Cross over the railway line at the Nth Freo train station, turn right, cross at the lights to walk between the units to the beach. This is a patrolled and safe beach for swimming, surfing, wind surfing, and long walks either on the sand or along the walking track.

Harvey Beach is a lovely spot along the river to swim. It is located at the end of Harvest Rd beside the water police station. So when the sea breeze is in , head to the river as an alternative to cool off. Dolphins are often seen from the little jetty.
